wild form (n.) the natural, uncultivated form of a plant species as it exists in the wild.
My Path to Herbalism
Growing up in Colorado, my relationship with nature quietly shaped who I was becoming. The mountains provided a background of steadiness and beauty, and inoculated my path with reverence for the natural world, all while my family was moving through intense difficulty.
When I was ten years old, my mother was diagnosed with advanced-stage breast cancer. I didn’t understand it then, but witnessing her journey through treatment, and eventually her passing when I was twenty-three, planted a seed that would later guide me toward natural healing and a deeper questioning of the way we approach health.
In college, I studied horticulture and restoration ecology, spending years working closely with the land and learning plants in both cultivated and wild landscapes. I came to understand how plants grow, the conditions they need to thrive, and the challenges they face…yet there was something still missing. I knew plants scientifically, I had learned how to take care of them, but I didn’t yet know how they could help take care of us.
It was through my own grief and healing journey that the call became clear. I felt drawn to come into a deeper relationship with the plants and wisdom they carry, and to begin to understand their role in restoring balance not just within landscapes, but also within the human ecosystem. In 2022, I began studying at ACORN School of Herbal Medicine with Heather Luna and Paul Bergner, where I completed three years of training, culminating with Clinical Residency and Roundtable. This program consisted of 483 hours of supervised clinical practice, where I gained first hand experience with actual clients. This marked the beginning of my work as a clinical herbalist, rooted in the vitalist tradition of Western herbalism. Since graduating, I continue to deepen my studies, taking courses through Commonwealth Holistic Herbalism and the School of Evolutionary Herbalism, as well as more specific trainings from the American Herbalist Guild (AHG) and Herbal Practice Connexion. I am a current associate member with the AHG and working towards becoming a Registered Herbalist (RH).

What is the meaning of wild form?
In botany, “wild form” refers to the natural, uncultivated expression of a plant species as it exists in the wild. Before it is pruned, hybridized, or shaped by human hands. This concept sits at the heart of my work. I believe healing is not about fixing or forcing change, but about restoring what is already present and supporting the body’s innate capacity to return to balance when given the right conditions.
My practice is a space for those who feel called to return to themselves…to move away from suppressing symptoms and toward a deeper relationship with their body, their environment, and their inner knowing. My role is not to override the body’s wisdom, but to walk alongside it, offering support, education, and tools that guide you back to your natural way of being.
What is a clinical herbalist?
I support clients with a wide range of acute and chronic concerns through individualized care. Together, we will work to uncover patterns based on your symptom presentation. We will take into consideration physical, emotional, environmental, and energetic influences and how they interact over time to uncover the root causes of your health concerns.
Our work together may include custom herbal formulations, nutrition and dietary guidance, lifestyle and vitalist support, and educational tools that empower you to better understand your own body. When appropriate, sound healing may also be incorporated to support nervous system regulation and deeper restoration.
I take a slow, relational, and collaborative approach. Each consultation is an opportunity to listen deeply, ask thoughtful questions, and co-create a plan that feels realistic, sustainable, and aligned with your life. I do not believe in quick fixes or one-size-fits-all protocols; instead, I focus on building resilience, restoring balance, and supporting long-term vitality.
My role is not to replace medical care, but to work alongside it when needed, offering support that helps you reconnect with your body, your health, and the natural world. I aim to meet clients where they are at, honoring both their lived experience and the pace at which true healing unfolds.
This is an invitation to remember your original design and to soften into your own wild form.
Guiding Values
Vitalism – We honor the life force as the true healer and work to support its natural expression through gentle, restorative herbal care, diet, and lifestyle.
Earth Reverence – Our work together is deeply rooted in respect for the land, ecology, and the spirit of plants.
Integrity – Offerings are created with transparency, care, and intention, from plant harvest to client session.
Empowerment – I believe healing is collaborative. I aim to educate and empower clients to become stewards of their own well-being.
Simplicity + Wholeness – We return to what is elemental, working with the body as a whole, not in parts, and using the simplest effective path.
Connection – We nurture connection to self, land, and community through ritual, seasonal alignment, and shared learning.
Wild Form Medicine Garden
In my vitalist herbalism practice, connection to nature is an integral part of healing. My medicine garden is tended with care, intention, and respect. I grow medicinal herbs in living soil, using organic, regenerative, and biodynamic practices that honor both plant vitality and the health of the earth.
I personally sow, nurture, and harvest each herb by hand in accordance with cosmic rhythms (such as solar, lunar, and planetary cycles), then carefully dry and store to preserve its quality and flavor. These plants become the foundation of my formulas that are individually crafted fresh for each client to support balance, vitality, and restoration.
By cultivating many of the herbs I work with, I can ensure purity, potency, and sustainability while deepening my relationship with the plants themselves. This way of working allows me to offer remedies that are not only effective but also deeply connected to the land and the living web of which we are all a part.
